What should I bring for the tour?
To fully enjoy your time on board Muriel, we recommend packing light, practical, and comfortable. Please use a soft bag (no hard suitcases), as storage space is limited.
You should bring weather-appropriate clothing, including waterproof and windproof rain gear, as conditions at sea can change quickly. Even during summer, it can feel cool on the water, so we recommend warm layers such as wool or fleece.
Comfortable leisurewear is ideal for relaxing on board, along with non-slip shoes (such as sneakers or deck shoes with light soles). Depending on the season, a hat and light gloves can also be useful.
Don’t forget swimwear and a towel for those who wish to enjoy the sea.
We also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, personal toiletries, any necessary medication, and a phone charger or power bank.
Bed linen, safety equipment, and everything you need on board are provided – you only need to focus on enjoying the experience.
Is pickup and drop-off included?
Normally not. Our start and stop points is usually in areas with good transportation infrastructure.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Age limit is 15 years.
What happens in case of bad weather?
Safety is our highest priority on all voyages with Muriel. Weather conditions at sea can change, and we continuously monitor forecasts to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
If conditions are not suitable for sailing, the itinerary may be adjusted. This can include altering the route, seeking more sheltered waters, postponing departures, or, in rare cases, remaining in port until conditions improve.
Our captain will always make decisions based on safety and seamanship, and these decisions are final. While this may occasionally affect the planned schedule, it ensures that your journey remains safe and enjoyable.
We will always do our best to provide a great experience regardless of conditions, whether at sea or in harbor.
